Border Regiment Forum

The Border Regiment Forum has been set up with the main goal of bringing people together with their knowledge, stories and photos relating to the regiment throughout it's long and colourful history. You can also use the forum to ask other members about research and ask about the best places to start looking for your relative, even if he only served in the regiment for a short while. The forum does not hold service records, however, efforts are made to add as much information as we can when other members ask regarding their relatives who served. Several members are quite knowledgeable and hold some records (or have access to records such as those at Ancestry.co.uk) and therefore, might be able to help you. Don't be shy, the best way to find out is to ask. It is helpful when requests are answered or if people add their own information as this could also be helpful for other researchers. This is a small and friendly forum and new members and informative material is always welcome; we also like a good chat about anything Border Regiment in general too. It is hoped the forum will continue to provide a platform for those with an interest in the Border Regiment and in time continue to grow and share the information submitted by its members.
